April’s energy saving tips from Nick of OurLocalExpert

Last month, we launched a new CAPS initiative: Tips from OurLocalExpert – from Nick Hall, Publisher of Our Local Expert.

Nick will be at the ‘big energy event’ this Thursday, ready to give out lots of practical tips: We Are All People of Power – how we can save on our energy bills – event Thurs 16th April.

And for this month, he’s focussing on a very practical set of tips to share:

Guide to EV grants

NIck also suggests we look at some regular places to go for funding – available on Devon Funding News – and to get on their their mailing list: DevonBusinessNews@info.devon.gov.uk

And looking to a bright future for local energy which we should all be able to tap into, there’s the Local Power Plan from the county council:

Funding will become available later this year through the Local Power Plan which has been announced by government. The Local Power Plan will support local and community-owned clean energy across the UK. It is being delivered by Great British Energy (GBE) and will bring together grants, loans, advice and expert help to invest in the development of community energy. The total funding commitment for the plan is £1bn.
