There’s lots happening at the Sidmouth Science Festival.
Tomorrow at Super Science Saturday, there is a full day of scientific fun around Sidmouth with lots to do for families of all ages as well as grown ups.

At the same event on Saturday 5th, Exeter Community Energy [ecoe.org.uk] will be promoting their “cosy home” work – and will be available to talk about making homes more comfortable and sustainable.

Also, James Scourse of Exeter University will be talking about reconstructing climate from the longest-lived animals on Earth.

And Roger Trend will be looking at Lanzarote’s geothermal energy – its geological origins and its possibilities for electricity generation.

On Tuesday 8th, Lisa Treseder from Kensa Heat Pumps will be talking about a 21st Century alternative to the gas network l

And on Friday 11th, Martin Tickner of the Alliance to End Plastic Waste will be asking if plastic is the enemy and will be tackling plastic waste issues.
